About Naples FL

Naples FL Homes for Sale

Naples offers 38 miles of shoreline within Collier County, Florida; the beach itself stretches for seven miles. Other waterfront options include properties on the bays and water channels where both shared and private boat docks are available in many of the neighborhoods.  If waterfront property is not your preference, the inland golfing communities offer some of the best golf course properties found anywhere in the world.  Naples offers luxurious and gracious living to suit your lifestyle.

A pristine community that places value on its beauty and unique location on the Gulf, Naples’ streets are kept clean, free from litter, and are accented with seasonal flowers and lush, tropical foliage native to the area. To protect their “paradise”, the communities within Naples regulate the high-rise buildings and keep view-blocking signage to a bare minimum. This maintains the natural beauty of Naples and helps to keep real estate and home values high.

Every community has a special attraction. Naples has the Pier at the south end and the fabulous Gulf Shore Boulevard in the middle of town.  Gulf Shore Boulevard is a divided street with beautifully landscaped medians.  The Boulevard meanders through the town which features a diversity of interesting architecture.  More than 130 beach and bay-front condominiums are located along Gulf Shore Boulevard and its side streets and date from the late 1950s to present.

The condominiums in Naples have architectural styles that vary from tropical Bahamas-style, low-rise buildings to modern 24-story structures.  These buildings offer everything from one-bedroom units up to 4-or 5-bedroom, multi-story penthouses.  You'll find a variety of amenities, such as boat docks, tennis courts, fitness centers with saunas, Jacuzzis, and  large swimming pools - as well as clubhouse rooms equipped with kitchens, pool tables, and more.   The prices of the Naples homes for sale along the Boulevard will vary substantially due to the diversity of design, size, and age of the properties.

Shopping and Dining

Known around the world as a shopper’s dream, Naples offers many shopping malls, upscale gift shops, home furnishing stores, trendy fashion boutiques, and fine department stores.  Dining is as equally outstanding.   Third Street in Olde Naples not only offers some of the best shopping found anywhere, but it also offers dining venues for everything from a quick bite at an outdoor café to a elegant dinner at an award-winning restaurant.  Village on Venetian Bay also offers its own variety of shops, galleries and eateries with a quaint Mediterranean-style architecture and Old World charm. Other shopping venues include Coastland Center, Fifth Avenue South, The Village on Venetian Bay and The Waterside Shops.

Other areas within Naples also offer their own specific qualities and character.  Waterside Side Shops at Pelican Bay is more upscale with stores like Saks, Cartier, Gucci, and others.  Coastland Center features well-know department chains like Macys, Dillard’s, Sears, and others, plus a children’s soft play area.  Fifth Avenue is Naples’ original “main street” historic district.  This is a popular place for shopping, dining, and dancing.  Tin City is a more “niche” shopping and dining area and overlooks the working docks of Naples Bay.

Things To Do in Naples

Naturally, Naples is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with easy access to various water sports, and outstanding golfing opportunities.  But, there are many other reasons why residents love the Naples area.
